You will learn:

Relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to eliminate the fear and tension that cause long labour and pain,
replacing them with confidence, calm and comfort.
Special breathing techniques for each stage of labour.
Techniques to control the body’s own natural anaesthesia.
Discuss the myth that birthing equals pain.
Why women in other cultures have birthing almost entirely free of discomfort.
How the mother's body is designed to work in synch with nature throughout labour.
The importance bonding.
Natural ways to bring start birthing without artificial induction.

During the course you will learn self hypnosis exercises to do unaccompanied and with your birth partner – these should be practiced outside of the classes too. You will learn exactly what will be happening to your body when you start birthing and observe several HypnoBirthing® videos of woman giving birth to their babies in comfort and with ease.

All materials (including book, CDs, scripts and handouts) and refreshments are provided. Ongoing support via email or phone is available throughout the course and afterwards.
